Specs at a glance

• The Exobot comes as a sedan and an SUV, both with three electric motors and all-wheel drive.
• The First Edition has 850 hp and a 112 kWh battery. Its range is up to 670 km for the sedan and 560 km for the SUV.

Warranty and free servicing

Ceer includes a Companion Package in the price. TradeArabia lists what it covers:

• A vehicle warranty on major components for 6 years or 200,000 km.
• A battery warranty for 8 years or 200,000 km.
• Free scheduled servicing for 6 years.
• Roadside assistance for 6 years.

Ceer will do the scheduled servicing on its own cars for the first 6 years. Warranties usually exclude tyres and other wear parts, accident damage and modifications, so read Ceer's full terms before you reserve.

Where to reserve

Ceer opened its first mobile store at Bujairi Terrace in Diriyah, Riyadh. Next come mobile stores at Boulevard City in Riyadh, Red Sea Mall in Jeddah and Nakheel Mall in Dammam, then permanent Ceer Centers in Riyadh, Jeddah and Khobar, according to Zawya.

Caring for an EV in the Saudi heat

An EV has no engine oil to change. It still needs regular checks of the battery and its cooling system, the software, the brakes and the tyres, because EVs are heavier than petrol cars and deliver strong torque from a standstill. In summer, battery cooling and air conditioning need the most attention. Park in the shade when you can, and avoid leaving the battery full or nearly empty for long periods.
